Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is the evaluation and treatment of communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders in the hospital, outpatient, and home health settings.
SLPs are experts in communication.
Speech-language evaluations and therapy services are provided for children of all ages with disorders and delays in speech and language as well developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc.
Speech-language evaluations and therapy services are provided for adults with degenerative neurological disorders such as ALS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, etc. and acquired neurological disorders such as Aphasia and Traumatic Brain Injury.
